Weekly Thoughts 1

01/03/2011
The first studio lesson we were all divided into groups of three according to our interests in the buildings of five given options of Villa Muller, Villa Savoye, Villa Mairea, Antonio Carlos Siza House and the house chosen; the Maison a Bordeaux house (1995-98) by Rem Koolhaas.

The elevator acting as a moving room, the port-holes seen on the ground floor and second floor, and the round windows that was designed according to the owners' wifes vision were elements that had caught my eye.

However, accurate plans were difficult to search for. Never-the-less, many photographs of the Bordeaux House were helpful in drawing plans for next studio.
